Vision

The initial vision for the Decentralized Trust & identity SIG is to bring together the members of the Cardano community as well as others. We aim to:

1. Connect like minded organisations and individuals around SSI, Identity and Trust solutions

2. Opportunity for community members to network with each other and share what they are doing

3. Identify and help promote community members who are actively working on or already incorporating Decentralised Trust & Identity in their solutions

4. Create a lightning rod for bottom up community engagement around Decentralised Trust & Identity

5. Create directory of teams working on Trust and Identity solutions

6. Create synergies between members, help craft thought leadership positions on how to leverage Decentralised Trust and Identity in Enterprise, Business and Web3*

7. Invite and collaborate with participants from outside of Cardano, eg Trust Over IP Foundation, Hyperledger Foundation , other SSI and Identity solutions/frameworks

8. Identity any common initiatives that might to lead to Catalyst or Intersect proposals that could benefit members
